Bruckner is a Hollywood Californian born daughter of her Hungarian father and a Russian mom. Her paternal grandparents are German. Her parents are Hungary-born parents, who met in Hungary. The family moved into the U.S.A. via Italian refugee camp in 1984. There is a sister and brother.
